Methods for enhancing energy-saving LED light in the entertainment industry
The project resulted in the creation of valuable knowledge about the process, methodology, software selection, requirements for photometric measurements and necessary skills required to perform valid simulations of outdoor lighting.
The idea of the project is intended to create and test new tools that can simplify and facilitate decision-making when designing lighting installations. 3D visualization of photorealistic renderings of new lighting solutions is considered a new and effective tool in the design and development process, and as a tool for user acceptance prior to a mock-up or 1:1 installation. The project aims, through new tools, to break down barriers and promote the use of energy-efficient solutions in the future outdoor lighting.
The project resulted in the creation of valuable knowledge about the process, methodology, software selection, requirements for photometric measurements and necessary skills required to perform valid simulations of outdoor lighting. The project demonstrates a visualization tool as a catalyst for the promotion of energy -saving LED lighting in the event and entertainment industry. However, the technology is generically and will be the key to visualize both outdoor and indoor lighting solutions. For example municipal street and road construction, construction of regional super hospitals, the development of energy-efficient lighting fixtures etc.
