Enabling Framework for the Acceleration of BIPV & Fase 2, 2020-2023

This project will strengthen the Danish participation in the IEA PVPS task 15: Enabling Framework for the Acceleration of BIPV & Fase 2, 2020-2023, where DTU Fotonik wants to participate in the subtasks:
• Subtask B ” Cross-sectional analysis: learning from existing BIPV installations”
• Subtask E ” Pre-normative international research on BIPV characterization methods”

Project description

The overall aim with the participation is to disseminate knowledge from the task to the Danish BIPV sector and contribute with experience where relevant. DTU Fotonik has, during the past years executed several BIPV projects, and this has made DTU Fotonik the nationally preferred academic partner for BIPV projects. DTU Fotonik is conducting research within color perception and test and analysis of BIPV solutions.
DTU Fotonik educates engineers and offers supplemental educations to industry professionals with BIPV competencies, and thereby DTU Fotonik has created a large platform for dissemination of knowledge to the Danish BIPV sector and further is able to bring the Task knowledge to newly graduates.
DTU Fotoniks participation is very well aligned with the research activities and the great network of stake-holders in the building sector will be applied to disseminate results.
Activities in the project are:
- Measurements and data processing of BIPV modules used in the task comparing performance
- Comparing field performance and performance prediction of a BIPV installation in a Danish climate zone to the other zones and installations investigated in the task,
- Meeting participation, preparation and contributions where relevant
- Dissemination in collaboration with Solar City Denmark.
