D-CODE, DC/DC converter-based diagnostics for PEM systems
The D-CODE project aims at developing an innovative diagnostic procedure to detect Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell stack faults and support stack degradation level analysis. The on-line diagnosis will be used during on-field operations. The proposed technique will overcome the limitations of existing methods: lack of accuracy, lack of discrimination, lack of anticipation. The methods will be implemented on a back up power system and on micro combined heat and power (microCHP)
The project will develop a method to monitor the condition of a fuel cell stack in a system under action both for applications in back up power and micro combined heat and power
