Expert group on research and development prioritisation and evaluation (IEA)
Senior experts from 19 countries and the EU engaged in national and international RD&D efforts have collaborated on current issues through international workshops, information exchange networking and outreach. The results and recommendations support R&D managers at different levels - industry, national and international levels - on information, knowledge sharing and good practises on design, implementation and evaluation of R&D efforts in general.
The project will support Danish participation in the IEA Expert Group on R&D Prioritisation and Evaluation and thereby provide an arena for collaboration and knowledge sharing on strategic energy technologies, RD&D strategies and programmes and evaluation of RD&D activities to relevant Danish RD&D stakeholders. The Expert Group was created in 1994 to promote development and refinement of methodological and analytical approaches to strategic energy technology analysis; to R&D priority setting; and to assessment of benefits from R&D activities. The capacity to apply sound tools in developing effective national R&D strategies and programmes is becoming increasingly important.
