IEA-AMF Annex 56 Methanol as Motor Fuel
Using methanol (wood alcohol) instead of gasoline.
Project description
The objective is to contribute to IEA-project Methanol as Motor Fuel in collaboration with Israel, Finland, Sweden, Germany and Japan. The Danish contribution will be measurements on a methanol driven engine in the laboratory, mapping of stakeholders, distribution issues and barriers for introducing green methanol as a motor fuel en Denmark. The project outlines a complete distribution chain for green methanol based on danish biogaqs. The project aims a larger demonstration project with full scale supply of vehicles with green methanol based on Danish biogas.
