HyLIFT - DEMO European demonstration of 3rd generation hydrogen powered fuel cell forklifts
HyLIFT-DEMO is to conduct European demonstration of the 3rd generation hydrogen powered fuel cell forklifts and supporting hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. HyLIFT-DEMO has the following objectives: 1) Conduct European demonstration of 3rd generation fuel cell hybrid forklifts and hydrogen refueling infrastructure in order to validate reaching of stated pre-commercial performance targets on durability, efficiency & price. 2) Plan and secure initiation of 4th generation product maturation and deployment towards reaching full commercial targets. 3) Plan and secure initiation of commercial market introduction of fuel cell forklifts and hydrogen infrastructure by 2012. 4) Identify future Regulation Codes and Standard needs in order to enable commercial high volume certification and use
